Yes, but does it make the little chirpy sound when you flip it open??? That’s really the critical thing.

I do have a new cameraphone, by the way. This picture was not taken by it, but this one was. Well, mostly. And here is a diatribe about evil Verizon, along with another picture from it.

soft

soft

I started to hear people using that phrase: “done and done” in the past year or so. I assume it’s one of those memes that I miss out on, living at the fringes of mainstream culture as I do. By that I mean that I don’t watch TV.

Anyway, tonight I did my taxes (done) and my financial aid (and done). I had an extension on my taxes. But by all rights I should have done my financial aid stuff months ago.

I also paid a parking ticket. I parked overnight in a campus lot. It was $3.50 for the first 3 days. Then it went to $15. Now it’s $30. Don’t even ask me about my late phone bill and what I had to pay in late and reconnection charges. I am not qualified to be an adult. At least not an adult that doesn’t get regularly-deposited paychecks.

But really I just wanted to blog this photo because I think it needs more view hits. I think it’s compelling and the greens and pinks and blues are all very spring-like and pretty. Not that it’s spring. I have discovered the selective color options in the hue/saturation filter in Photoshop and they make me very happy.

Yo, can I get a 20 percent vacation policy at my workplace? No? How about the power to determine my own salary? No? Okay, just checking.

Flickr shall be my undoing.

This guy’s photos are amazing. Does he carry city-sized studio setup with him or what? How does he find that kind of light everywhere he goes?

“Lucid” and other work by this guy are more surreal and dark, and tend to be unreasonably perfect.

Sigh. I’m such a sucker for eye candy.
