I'll definitely have to re-read the series sometime, or at least the first 5 or so - they were pretty damn awesome. The latter books kind of ticked me off, although I'm sure I'll read the last one once they hire a ghostwriter to piece it together from his notes. All of them told me to stay away from the series, and most of them were betting that he would not live to finish it. Sad news indeed, and whoever picks up the series for him (if anybody does) has no small task in front of him/her.
